White Water Rafting
Bison River Resort prides itself on offering the thrill of white water rafting on the majestic Kali. The Kali River offers heart-pounding tumbling through rapids to gentle quiet stretches. Whether you are a seasoned white water rafter or a first-timer, the programs offered at the Bison River Resort are some of the best found anywhere.
The Bison River Run:
This program lasts for 4 hours and covers over 13 kms.
After being tossed around the fierce waters of the Kali River , you’ll enjoy the quieter stretches of this magnificent river. You may spot some wildlife on this excursion.
The Mid Run:
This program is just as much fun as the Bison River Run, but lasts for 3 hours and covers a 9 km distance. Plenty of thrills for everyone, as you make your way down the river, with the forest of the Western Ghats around you.
Note: All participants are supplied with life jackets and helmets. Rafting professionals are trained in safety measures, work as safety teams and carry safety equipment. Visitors are given instructions before the program begins.

Tips for White Water Rafting: White water rafters should wear footwear that won’t come off your feet in the water. Sandals should be avoided. Don’t bring valuables like money or jewellery. Cameras are a risk. Wear a hat and apply plenty of sunscreen.
